We are presently recruiting for a Tyre Fitter for our clients in Killarney, County Kerry. Working with a team of five, you will be responsible for puncture repair, fitting and balancing of vehicle tyres. This is a full -time, permanent position based in Killarney, County Kerry.
Responsibilities:
- Perform tyre fitting, balancing, and alignment services for a range of vehicles, including cars, vans, and trucks.
- Inspect tyres for wear, damage, and proper inflation levels, recommending replacements or repairs as necessary.
- Utilize specialist tools and equipment to efficiently remove, install, and repair tyres.
- Conduct regular maintenance checks and adhere to safety protocols while working on vehicles.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and ensure customer satisfaction through professional service.
- Assist with stock management, including ordering and organizing tyres and related equipment.
- Provide advice to customers on tyre selection, maintenance, and safe driving practices.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in tyre fitting or a related automotive role.
- Relevant qualifications in automotive or tyre fitting disciplines.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Full, clean driving license is desirable.
