We are currently hiring an Early Childhood Educator for our client in Mid Kerry. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can thrive. Your focus will be on fostering their developmental, social, and emotional growth while laying the foundation for lifelong learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver age-appropriate educational activities that encourage cognitive, physical, and emotional development.
- Establish a secure, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that inspires curiosity and exploration.
- Promote social skills, language development, and early literacy through interactive play and structured activities.
- Observe, document, and evaluate each child’s development, tailoring methods to meet individual needs.
- Build strong relationships with parents and caregivers by providing regular, professional updates on children’s progress.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive, supportive, and cohesive learning atmosphere.
- Maintain compliance with all health, safety, and childcare regulations to ensure a safe environment for children and staff.
Qualifications and Skills:
- A recognized qualification in Early Childhood Education or an equivalent field.
- At least 1 year of experience in early childhood education or a crèche setting is preferred.
- Excellent communication, patience, and organizational skills.
- First Aid certification is an advantage.
- A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their growth.
Benefits:
This full-time position offers a salary in the range of €29,000 – €33,000, depending on experience. You will have the opportunity to work in a supportive, professional environment that values the critical role of early childhood education.
