We are presently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative for an Engineering company in Killarney, County Kerry. You will be required to pick, pack and despatch Engineering products and ensure that the warehouse is safe and tidy at all times. You will be required to pick, pack and despatch Engineering products and ensure that the warehouse is safe and tidy at all times. This is an initial 3 to 6 month contact.
Responsibilities:
- Use of Forklift – load and unload trucks, containers, transport and storing
- Picking, packing, receipting and dispatching orders
- General store and housekeeping duties
- Assist with regular stock take, cycle count procedures and location reports
- Active involvement in the continuous improvement of the supply chain process
The person:
- 2+ Years experience in a similar position
- Strong communication skills
- Fit and have the ability to work in a physical environment, both indoor and outdoors
- Have relevant safe pass and ideally forklift licence.
This is an initial contract position with a requirement to cover a morning or afternoon shift on a weekly rotation. Salary is based on experience with an additional 25% shift premium offered. For further information, please email me directly at adrien@redchair.ie
