We are presently recruiting a structural Engineer for our clients in Tralee, County Kerry. Working on one of the largest construction projects ever to commence in Kerry, this position will be for roughly 3 years and will require you to work on tasks raging from Design, plan, and overseeing the construction of structural elements in buildings and infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Design, plan, and oversee the construction of structural elements in buildings and infrastructure.
- Perform structural analysis and calculations to ensure safety and stability.
- Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and reports.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to integrate structural elements with overall project design.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with design specifications.
- Evaluate and recommend materials, methods, and structural systems.
- Address and resolve any structural issues that arise during construction.
- Ensure all designs comply with regulations and standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years in a similar position.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
- Proven experience in structural engineering and construction projects.
- Proficiency in structural design software and tools.
