We are recruiting for a Service Engineer for our clients a Calibration company in County Kerry. Covering Munster, you will offer a full raft of service requirements and will be required to work across mechanical and electrical tasks. You will excel at fault finding, maintenance of equipment and will have strong IT and Problem solving and diagnostic skills. This is a full time, field-based position covering the Munster region.
Main duties:
- Carry out calibration of weighing equipment to industry accreditation standards and customer expectations.
- Carry out maintenance of weighing equipment and accurately inform customers when repair is required.
- Carry out repair of weighing equipment to appropriate standards.
- Complete all required paperwork related to calibration of weighing equipment and submit on time.
- Physically move weights in order to complete calibration work.
- Frequently travel to customer sites to carry out calibration work or other tasks, as necessary.
Skills and experience
- 1+ years field based experience is highly desirable.
- Electronics or electro-mechanical qualification, or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to travel to customer sites and hold a full valid Driving License.
- Experience in fault finding, maintenance of equipment.
- Strong problem solving and diagnostic skills.
