We are currently recruiting for Sales Supervisor for our clients, a Travel Agency in Dublin 2. You will be responsible for training of a new sales team members and helping to up-skill of the current sales team’s skills. You will also be involved in the day-to-day operational supervision of training and staff and develop an ethos of excellence within the company by offering one-to-one training meetings. This position is a hybrid with a mixture of office and home working week.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the induction of new recruits to the sales team.
- Directly manage a team of new recruits.
- Work closely with the team, motivating and coaching them.
- Training new teams, from systems to product knowledge to closing sales.
- Manage daily workload and training sessions of the new sales team.
- Report on training plans against in-house training metrics.
- Manage performance management.
- Lead sales representatives to deliver excellent customer satisfaction.
Requirements and qualifications
- Minimum five years’ experience in the travel industry in a senior sales or supervisor role.
- Strong travel product knowledge in particular in Cruise, USA, Luxury, and European holidays.
- Experience of directly supervising a sales team and onboarding of new staff.
- Experience in evaluation training needs and measuring staff performance.
