Sales Executive – Oil Industry

Red Chair recruitment are presently recruiting for a Technical Sales Executive for my clients. The product line which will be sold has been developed for the Oil, Gas, Petrochemical and Military Sectors in particular and includes protective equipment.

The Ideal candidate will come from a Technical Sales background, possess a “ Black Book” of names in the sector and have a strong ability to communicate, close sales and influence decision makers. This position will require international travel, and a large level of work on your own initiative. Location of employment can be based worldwide once you have extensive experience in the sector and ability to travel internationally when required.

Job Description:

  • Your primary job function is to sell a range of products specifically to the Oil, Gas, Petrochemical and Military sectors.You must be able:
  • To research new leads and follow up existing leads
  • To maximise sales time by targeting effectively the correct clients, their role and their companies
  • To generate maximum revenue
  • To meet or exceed personal targets, revenue targets and call time rates

Job Responsibilities:

  • Meet or succeed yearly and monthly revenue targets by selling consistently to all possible targets; repeat business, new clients and prospects.
  • Exchange information and give necessary feedback as and when needed by colleagues in different departments
  • Complete accurately and send weekly sales report sheet to company CEO
  • Ensure that business conduct reflects an enthusiastic and efficient image of the company
  • You will represent the company at certain events and meet clients directly face-to-face internationally

 Background Knowledge, Skills & Experience – Necessary:

  • Degree educated, preferably in an Engineering topic
  • Degrees from and passport holders of USA, Ireland, Canada, UK, South Africa, New Zealand or Australia will only be considered
  • Previous work specifically in the Oil, Gas, Military or Petrochemical Sector is essential
  • Know the names and contacts that can open doors
  • Computer literate and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
  • Demonstrate fluency in both written and spoken English
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Highly motivated, ambitious and constantly striving for excellence and success
  • Customer focused and knows how to build and maintain relationships
  • Self-motivation/drive with a work-ethic based on never giving up.
  • Results oriented
  • Strong business acumen
