A full-time permanent position for a Qualified Accountant in Practice is available in Tralee, County Kerry. We are looking to recruit a qualified CPA/ACA/ACCA accountant with 2 years + Practice experience. You will be responsible for a portfolio of clients and be responsible for client’s Audits, Accounts and Revenue Returns. You will work closely with company Partners, Tax Manager and Administration Departments.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial statements, tax returns, and management accounts for a diverse client portfolio.
- Conduct thorough audits, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Oversee bookkeeping activities, including maintaining accurate ledgers and performing bank reconciliations.
- Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial plans for clients.
- Provide strategic financial advice to clients, helping them optimize their financial performance.
- Ensure timely submission of statutory returns and liaise with tax authorities as necessary.
- Utilize accounting software to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Mentor and supervise junior staff, fostering their professional growth and development.
- Stay informed on changes in accounting standards, tax legislation, and industry best practices.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, delivering exceptional service and support.
Requirements:
- Third level Degree
- CPA/ACCA/ACA Accounting Qualification.
- The suitable candidate will need to have experience in a practice environment.
- Strong communication skills
- Strong team player.
The salary and benefits for this position will be determined according to the experience of the successful candidate and in the region of €40 – €60,000, possibly higher with specific experiences.
