We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Painters Labourer to support painting teams on predominantly commercial construction and refurbishment projects. The successful candidate will assist painters with preparation work, material handling, and maintaining safe and organised work areas across various sites.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting including sanding, filling, masking, and cleaning
- Move and organise painting materials, tools, and equipment on site
- Protect floors, fixtures, and surrounding work areas before painting begins
- Assist painters with daily site activities and project setup
- Maintain clean, safe, and tidy working environments
- Follow all health and safety procedures on commercial sites
- Assist with erecting and dismantling access equipment where required
Experience & Requirements
- Previous construction, labouring, or painting experience preferred
- Ability to use basic hand and power tools safely
- Strong work ethic with good timekeeping and reliability
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Safe Pass/CSCS card and Manual Handling certification advantageous
- Willingness to work across multiple commercial project locations
