We are presently recruiting for a Mechanical Design Coordinator for our clients who are based on the Cork / Kerry border within easy commute from both Killarney and Macroom. you will oversee the seamless execution of HVAC system design projects and will offer support to the sales teams relating to design and quotations. This is a full time, office-based position in County Cork
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver CAD Drawings and 3D models with correct drafting standards and dimensioning to client’s specifications and deadlines.
- Coordinate HVAC design projects from inception to completion, collaborating with engineering and architectural teams.
- Develop and manage project schedules, tracking milestones and progress.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations in HVAC designs.
- Review and approve HVAC design documents, drawings, and specifications.
- Facilitate communication between project stakeholders, ensuring alignment on project goals.
- Address technical challenges by liaising with engineers, designers, and clients.
- Monitor project budgets, resource allocation, and procurement of materials.
- Conduct site visits to assess HVAC installations and provide technical support.
- Participate in post-project evaluations and contribute to continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Ideally, a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, CAD or a related field is highly desired.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or equivalent.
- Detail-oriented mindset to ensure accuracy and quality in designs.
- Problem-solving aptitude to address HVAC-related challenges.
- Ability to manage time-sensitive projects and meet deadlines.
- Understanding of building systems and construction processes.
- Adherence to safety regulations and industry best practices.
