We are presently recruiting a Site based Land Surveyor for our County Cork based clients. Working on Renewable energy projects, you will be involved in all stages of the project life cycle from feasibility to post construction handover and will offer Surveying support to the wider team. This is a full-time position; site based and will involve travel around Ireland.
Responsibilities
- Provide surveying assistance from project inception, development, pre-construction, and construction and hand over phases.
- Complete topographic surveys.
- On site surveys and walkovers of design layouts
- Surveying of grid connection routes, site access arrangements.
- Deliver key site characteristics reports to the design team.
- Surveying for new grid connection infrastructure to client specifications.
Requirements
- Relevant Diploma/Degree qualification or experience of a similar role for minimum of 2 years.
- Knowledge of survey and GPS principles and techniques
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with fellow team members and with external organizations.
- Competent in the use of Microsoft Office & CAD.
- Experience in GIS Software would be an advantage.
- Flexibility in approach to working hours and travel as required.
- Full, clean driving license.
