Red Chair Recruitment are presently recruiting for Secondary School Information, Computer and Technology Teachers for my clients in the United Arab Emirates. My Clients operate a group of schools Nationwide in the UAE and require people who can teach High School to students at Boys and Girls Schools , Grade / Year 8 through 12.

You will be required to cover all aspects of the curriculum and will be responsible for all aspects of class management. My clients seek to develop cutting edge educational thinking amongst teaching staff, they strive to encourage creative, critical and analytical students, which will allow them to experience opportunities around the world and the UAE. . Reporting to the Head of school, you will be an effective professional who will deliver the vision and ethos of the school which is focused on learning. You will be committed to providing students a creative and challenging learning experience through inspirational teaching. You will enable students to master skills and develop their understanding by creating self-confident learners that are prepared to take on the dynamic world in the twenty-first century

I am presently seeking a teacher who is either an outstanding practitioner within their field, or who has the clear capacity to become so, and who will:

  • Ensure the children are cared for in a happy, safe and stimulating environment
  • Work in partnership with parents and carers
  • Use in depth knowledge of Curriculum
  • Provide a broad and balanced curriculum
  • Use experience of Teaching to improve standards of attainment
  • Provide a rich learning environments to expedite learning and subject knowledge and acquisition
  • Be responsible for encouraging and developing a culture of inspiration, enjoyment and success
  • Plan, prepare and review the curriculum within a year group team,  clearly highlighting intervention strategies for EAL and SEND children
  • Maintain accurate and informative assessment records that link to core subject data and show critical analysis of the progress and achievement for all children
  • Actively participate in and offer areas of staff CPD

  • Friday, 20th April              Houston
  • Saturday, 21st April          Houston
  • Sunday, 22nd April            Chicago

The Requirements:

In addition to being a qualified teacher with up-to-date relevant curriculum knowledge, the successful candidate will:

  • Hold qualifications and passport from USA, Ireland, Canada, UK,  New Zealand and Australia ONLY. Please note no other nationalities will be considered because of visa restrictions
  • Be passionate about young people and education and be able to engage a motivate students, based on high expectations;
  • Hold a degree and Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent;
  • In addition to Teaching Qualifications, additional Qualifications specific to subject requirement highly desired
  • Show commitment to the principle that all children can achieve beyond what they previously thought possible;
  • Skilfully use planning and assessment to match learning to individual learner need;
  • Engage in the whole school, through form tutoring, extra-curricular activity
  • Seek to consistently improve her own practice through Continuous Professional Development;
  • Promote the wider aspirations and values of the school;
  • Have at least three years’ experience in teaching (essential for visa regulation although please do ask if unsure) since qualification

Package on offer:

  • A TAX FREE salary of 143,998 AED ( € 31,700, $39,200USD, £ 28,100 GBP)
  • Housing allowances ranging from 89,124 – 139,200 AED Dependant on location and marital status ( Maximum payment £27,151 GBP, € 30,600 Euro, $ 37,900 USD)
