We are presently recruiting for a Head of Finance for our clients in County Kerry. Reporting to company Directors, You will lead the continuous improvements programs including the utilisation of technology and financial systems to streamline business processes, Lead the inhouse Finance Team and will take Full responsibility for the group’s budget and financial reporting duties. This is a full-time position based in County Kerry with a hybrid working week offered.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all financial activities and operations within the company.
- Develop and implement financial strategies to achieve organisational goals.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and legal requirements.
- Lead financial reporting and analysis, providing insights to support decision-making.
- Supervise financial staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Evaluate and improve internal controls and processes to optimize efficiency and mitigate risk.
- Full responsibility for the group’s companies budget and financial reporting.
- Preparation of internal management accounts, portfolio reports and board updates.
- Oversee/mange the debt-capital funding lines.
- Oversee the annual audit engagement with the statutory auditor.
- Ensuring financial controls are effective and being appropriately applied within the firm.
Qualification and experiences:
- Minimum of 6 years PQE experience.
- Bachelor’s degree coupled with professional membership of Accounting body.
- Proven experience in a senior financial management role.
- Strong knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations.
