Audit Accountant

Salary: €45,000 Location: Kerry Experience: 2+ Years Job no: AKAG0311Job Status: Full-Time

We presently require an Audit Accountant for our clients, one of the big 10 who are opening a new office in County Kerry.  You will have 2+ years’ experience,  hold Qualified Accountant status . You will be responsible for a portfolio of audit clients and will excel in delivering a professional and personal service to clients. This is a full time, permanent position based in Tralee, County Kerry.

Job responsibilities:

  • Responsible for planning, leading and completing audits ensuring timely completion of engagements to agreed service levels
  • Contributing to the development of the Audit practice
  • Maintaining and developing existing client relationships
  • Providing services to a large portfolio of key clients and successfully developing service offerings to meet demands
  • Working with other departments (e.g., tax, consulting) to provide coordinated solutions to clients and to achieve the best results
  • Planning of audit
  • Liaising closely with clients in relation to planning and closing meetings
  • Reviewing audit work papers
  • Researching and resolving technical queries from clients
  • Reviewing and finalising financial statements
  • General administration, including working capital management.

Skills, qualifications and Experience:

  • A relevant accountancy qualification – ACA/ACCA/CPA qualified.
  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years plus post qualification experience
  • An ability to build good working relationships with clients and colleagues.
