We are presently recruiting For an Accounts technician for our clients in Macroom, County Cork. Working in a team of 10, you will provide support both the Financial Controller and the wider Finance Team and will be tasked with all aspects of Financial planning and operations on a daily basis. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is looking to grow and develop within an organization in a broad finance role in industry.
Responsibilities
- The preparation of financial and management reports on a monthly basis.
- Recording of transactions in accounting system.
- Prepare accruals and prepayments for management accounts.
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations.
- Reconciliation of intercompany balances.
- Preparation of VAT returns.
- Assist with year‐end accounts for audit and tax.
- Other ad hoc duties as required.
Requirements
- Hold a relevant Finance / Accounts technician Qualification.
- 2+ years’ experience in industry.
