We are currently recruiting for an Accountant for our clients, a Manufacturing company in Listowel, County Kerry. You will be involved in all aspects of financial control for the company that operates in a high-volume manufacturing environment. You will play a focal point in all aspects of finance and will keep control of all unit costs. You should be an individual who likes to take ownership of responsibilities, be self-motivated, disciplined, and have a methodical approach to duties and responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
- Reporting of actual financial results for the operations department which includes operations, manufacturing, procurement, logistics, and facilities.
- Financial control of all aspects of stock including provisioning and average costings.
- Financial control of all fixed assets in the manufacturing department including tooling.
- Financial budgeting, forecasting and planning for the operations department.
- Decision support for all aspects of the department aimed at improving overall performance.
- Development and reporting of financial and other KPI’s for the Manufacturing department.
- Ad hoc work including investment analysis to support operational decisions.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Qualified accountant with 3+ years PQE within a manufacturing environment.
- A good understanding of manufacturing processes.
- Demonstrable track record of success in a fast-paced growing business.
- Worked in an international environment.
- Experience of working with a leading ERP system.
