Technical Customer Support Executive

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Technical Customer Support Executive to join our client’s team. As a growing business with a small team where collaborating with customers is so important, this person will have a significant impact on the business. The successful candidate will enjoy the challenge of an ever-changing environment of a growing, early-stage business. This role will involve setting up and training new schools in using our client’s software. This person should be a great communicator, enjoy solving problems and be highly proficient at using technology.

The successful candidate will be based in our office in Tralee, Co. Kerry with the opportunity to work partially from home. This role requires travel to schools nationally and so applicant’s must have a full driver’s license.

Responsibilities

  • Onboarding of new schools. This involves getting them set up with our software
  • Respond to customer queries on using the software via an internal chat software, phone and email
  • Investigate customer issues on the software
  • Record all interactions with schools in a CRM system
  • Assist in other school support tasks as required
  • Run workshops and present to schools on how to use the software; in person and online

  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Ability to work under own initiative
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Patience and desire to truly understand and listen to customer’s needs
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Excel fundamentals
  • Curiosity to pinpoint root-cause of issues and proactiveness to find solutions
  • Teamwork – the ability to work well with others and over time share your knowledge
  • Organisational skills – scheduling video meetings between trainers and schools
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Positive attitude, proactive and ability to meet deadlines and priorities workload as required

Bonus skills

  • Customer support experience
  • Experience working with/comfortable working with a technical product
  • Technology or Mathematics related qualification
  • Experience in school’s administrative systems – in Ireland or abroad
  • Experience in the education industry
