Red Chair Recruitment are presently recruiting for a Head of Aeronautical Engineering for our clients, a Technical College based in Muscat, Oman.
We are looking for a senior academic professional who can assume responsibility for the overall quality, content, development and delivery of academic and vocational training programmes offered by the Department. You will have a multinational faculty reporting to you and you will be responsible for academic outcomes and for providing guidance on your faculty career development.
The department in Muscat is also an approved maintenance and training examinations organisation, is licensed by EASA the European Aviation Safety Agency, and by PACA the Public Authority for Civil Authority of Oman. Our clients boast a purpose built facility that offers both undergraduate and post graduate degree courses along with Vocational training to the Omani population. Many of the student progress to work in one of the state industries or governmental departments.
Methodologies of Aeronautical Engineering:
- Avionics
- Electrical Engineering-Avionics, Control engineering
- Electric Machines & Power Electronic Systems
- Gas Turbine & Aero-Thermal Engineering
- Structural Engineering
Requirements:
- A Minimum of MA is required, PhD preferred in a relevant discipline and be issued from an accredit university in The USA, UK, Ireland, Canada, South Africa, Australia or New Zealand Only.
- Strong Academic experience, including managerial level experience in an academic setting
- At least 3 years of relevant industrial experience
- Experience in developing course curriculum
- For visa purposes only candidates who hold degrees as listed and passports from USA, UK, Ireland, Canada, South Africa, New Zealand or Australia will be considered.
- Fluency in spoken and written Arabic is considered a plus.
